Leaping out of the back window of a cannabis factory during a police raid, this suspect must have thought he had got the drop on his pursuers. Instead, his spectacularly misjudged escape attempt saw him drop straight into the arms of two officers. Unwilling to accept it clearly wasn't his day, the suspect fought free of their grasp and leapt over the back garden fence. However, his second escape bid didn't fare much better than the first. He was trapped in a cul-de-sac just 500 yards away when a passing member of the public used his van to block the road, allowing police to seize the fugitive. Officers swooped on a four-bedroom detached house in Basingstoke, Hampshire, early on Tuesday after a tip-off, and found more than 500 cannabis plants.
