Nicola Congdon, a 25-year-old from Falmouth in Cornwall, England, has started knitting woolly jumpers to help keep her chickens warm in the wintertime. Congdon has a total of 60 chickens of which 30 are former battery hens. These battery hens have trouble acclimatising to normal outdoor conditions once they are released. They also have a lack of feathers, which gave Nicola the idea for the homemade jumpers to keep them warm.

Nicola is now receiving special requests for jumpers from hen-keepers near and far. All of the profits are given to an AIDS orphanage in South Africa. Image Source: Screenshot/ SWNS/2015

This is one of the coolest videos I have seen in a very long time. How is this even possible? I knew chameleons could change their colours but this fast? Although Chameleons are well known for changing skin colour, they don’t do so as fully, quickly, or spectacularly as depicted in the video clip above.

This video clip originated as a clever promotion created by the Cutwater ad agency in March 2009 for Ray-Ban, surprise surprise. Image Source: Screenshot/Youtube/2015.

I always wondered if you would sleep in a sleeping bag which resembles a bear if you were staying somewhere in the Rockies? Would real life bears actually attack you or think: “hey this is one of us” and then walk off? Theoretically you could try out this idea now. Japanese artist Eiko Ishizawa has designed a bear sleeping bag!

You can easily buy one if you have a spare $2,350 USD lying around! The six-foot long sleeping bag is handmade and doubles as a bear costume when fully zipped up. The unusual sleeping bags originally went on sale in 2013, but recently gained new popularity after Twitter users started posting pictures. Image Source: Screenshot/Eiko Ishikzawa/2015.

You think you have seen it all? Think again! I do not know how this girl does it, but this is just weird. I have not seen anything like this before. How is this even possible? Double-jointed? Image Source: Screenshot/Unknown

If you have ever liked Oreo’s then I am sure you will like the new Oreo Churros! The unusual 10-inch long cookie sticks are made from Oreo pieces and filled with creme and topped with crumb sugar! How delicious does that sound?

Before you think of running to the next corner shop, the Oreo Churros will only be available at retailers like movie theatres and sporting events :( If you have tried the Churros before, let us know how they taste and if they rocked your boat? Image Source: Screenshot/Oreo/2015

The biggest danger of Lego bricks has always been the threat of stepping on them when barefoot. Everybody remembers those times when you walked around your place and suddenly something very hard and sharp dug itself into the soft underside of your feet. The scream is usually always the same: a loud argggh and you quickly touch your foot to stop the pain.

The slippers are interchangeable between the right and the left foot and come in bright red and yellow colours with the Lego logo on the top of the slippers. An extra amount of padding on the insoles has been added to protect your feet from those evil and sharp bricks.

Only 1,500 pairs of slippers were produced and they’ll be given away at random to people who fill out a Christmas wish list on the Lego France website. Image Source: Screenshot/Lego/2015
