I do not know if this is the greatest or the stupidest idea ever! Salta Beer, an Argentinean Beer company, has come up with the ultimate marketing idea. The brand tracked down rugby players who have lost several of their teeth, then teamed up with an oral surgeon who was willing to implant a tooth bottle opener.
Three rugby players Johnathan Batiga, Pablo Kwiczor, and Uriel Santiago were lucky enough to receive the unique dental implant. Since the advert went live, beer sales have increased 25% and strangely enough more people are asking to have the same implant! People are rushing to their nearest dentist desperate to follow suit. Crazy or what? Watch the video below and let us know your thoughts. Image Source: Screenshot/SaltaBeer/2015
Have you ever tried to use a Rubik Cube? I have. I am still wondering how to use such a thing. Collin Burns completed the entire puzzle in 5.25 seconds! That is the new world record.
While attending Rubik’s Cube competition at Central Bucks West High School in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Burns broke the world record for fastest time restoring a 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube, solving it in just 5.25 seconds.
The previous record, which was 5.55 seconds, was held by Dutch Mats Valk from the Netherlands. Watch the video below and I’m sure your jaw will drop to the floor! Image Source: Screenshot/Youtube/2015
The majority of us cannot wait to see the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens film in December. Many of us hardcore fans would wind the time forward if they could. Instead of sitting still and waiting for December to come other eager fans act and take initiative. Some chaps in the UK sent a model X-wing into space in a quest to get their hands on some tickets.
The two man group from Essex (I know what you are thinking… Essex right? used a weather balloon to reach the edge of space. They simply attached a model X-Wing to a weather balloon and filmed the crazy stunt. In total the effort cost them around £1,200!!! Do you think they will succeed? I think they should get some tickets for this amount of effort – come on? Image Source: Screenshot/Youtube/2015
Today we introduce the selfie arm! A lightweight fiberglass arm designed to make it look like someone is holding your hand while you take a selfie. Designed by artists Aric Snee and Justin Crowe, the ‘selfie arm’ is lightweight and portable, and fortunately only a prototype.
I can understand that nobody wants to look alone while snapping pictures but who would want to be seen with this thing? Image Source: Screemshot/ Aric Snee/2015
I am not sure what to say? We all know Hooters right? These so called “breastaurants” have dominated the industry of using big breasted women to sell delicious, greasy and fattening food. So now some genius has come up with the idea to turn things around. Tallywackers, is the male equivalent of Hooters that employs buff waiters ready to help you stuff your face with potato skins and chicken wings. The first of its kind is opening in Dallas!
The restaurant is apparently located in a predominantly gay neighbourhood, but the spokesperson said they are “expecting and [will] welcome a diverse clientèle, including women.” So what do you guys think? Would you go? They are hiring right now and if you would like to know more click here. Image Source: Screenshot/Tallywackers/facebook/2015
Spending more than $10 at McDonald’s is already considered as being excessive. Would you ever spend $890.80? A student in Chicago tested the limits of McDonald’s new customizable sandwich platform called Create Your Taste.
The result was the “Big Max” a 3.8 pound burger, piled high with dozens of toppings, including multiple types of cheese, bacon, tomato and much more. In short he ordered the maximum of everything and piled the ingredients on top of each other –all for a total amount of $890.80!
In the end all that was paid was $24.89 due to a pricing bug in the system. How lucky or was that all a marketing gag? I wonder how many will try to do the same? As far as I know McDonald’s “Create Your Taste” is currently only available in the US. Image Source: Screenshot/Youtube/2015
