MadBid is searching for bright individuals that are looking to grow & accept new responsibilities in a short period of time. A major aspect of this position is to be in top of the operational tasks of the business. As will be a new addition to the MadBid platform, there will be a great opportunity to see the site evolve and develop. You will get detailed insight into the marketing area of the French market and actively be involved in it.

This position is best suited to people who are reliable and like to think of themselves as a perfectionist. College or university education is considered a plus, but more important is evidence of maturity and dedication to making sure they produce quality work.

Your tasks would focus on any activity that aims at introducing and developing our French market presence. This includes anything from the adaption of the current business model to local needs in terms of strategy / marketing / product management / operations / procurement etc. to the management of our online marketing activities such as affiliate marketing, AdWords or CPA campaigns. Furthermore, you will be exposed to marketing / PR activities across all media channels. Additional tasks depend upon your capabilities and eagerness to learn.

You should be outgoing and enjoy dealing with customers as well as colleagues and management. You need to have a passion for the Internet and you should be generally very comfortable with IT. You should feel at ease with numbers and MS Excel and you should have a good working knowledge of MS Office applications.

The internship is rewarded with £500 per month. We encourage you to apply for at least six months. Your starting date in our London (Victoria) office from January, 2014 onwards

Ecommerce Intern (The Dutch Market)
This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and strong Internet company. Internship will emphasize most facets of global marketing. Your tasks would include anything from procurement, marketing (Online, social media, TV, press and radio), digital content management, and customer services. You will help us grow the Dutch market by working with the Marketing Manager and the other country teams in Central London. Candidates must have a strong interest in International Marketing (online and offline) and ecommerce in general. There will be, depending on your experience, interest and company needs other business development projects as well.
This position will also include the conception, planning and execution of email campaigns, analysing web traffic and other competitive market information. Furthermore, lead roles for mini projects can be given to you, if you prove eager to get more responsibility.
