McDonald’s launches chocolate-covered fries in Japan

Before you start running to your nearest McDonald’s, calm down, it will only be available in Japan! McDonald’s is giving its classic French fries a sweet twist by adding milk and white chocolate sauce. The McChoco Potato will start appearing on the restaurant’s menus on the 26th of January and promises an “exquisite harmony of sweet and salty flavours.”

The fries will cost 330 yen (£1.80) and can be eaten both as a dessert or as an accompaniment to regular meals such as the Bic Mac, according to the restaurant. Would you try it? Thoughts? Image Source: Screenshot/McDonald’s/2016
