Younilife.com has interviewed an upcoming star in the Internet community - a man with a unique vision, hoping to fund his expensive University career at Kingston University.

In February 2009, 23-year-old Spyros Pyrgiotis became one of the youngest to be offered a place in an MBA course in Britain, at Kingston University. In order to pay the £17,000 fees for the highly demanding course, Spyros came up with his website thetextpage.com, which launched last month.
Spyros explains how he came up with his website that consists of 100% text, “I spotted a gap in the market for pay per character advertising, so I thought I’m gonna do it” Spyros continues “In reality the most common way of advertisement on the internet is Links rather than display advertising, it didn’t take too much time to think of” Advertisers can buy characters for less than £1.50 ($2) each and already Spyros has sold $2,150 worth of advertising. He has also grabbed the attention of BBC News online, regional and local radio stations and a growing number of internet bloggers. Spyros also mentioned that the biggest part of the promotion is made through word of mouth in Facebook, as his facebook group currently numbers almost 1200 members and that’s one more sign that promotion through networking sites can be very effective. Spyros is looking to start his Masters of Business administration at Kingston University in September 2009.
